Rodrick Tata is a Telecommunications Engineer from Cameroon with a robust foundation in Applied Physics and Mathematics, holding an MSc in Telecom and Networks from the University of Buea. He currently serves as CEO for ProGuide and as Project Manager/CMO for Yoli Technologies, where he spearheads innovative marketing strategies and oversees project execution to deliver state-of-the-art technology solutions. Passionate about creating transformative technological solutions that seamlessly connect the world, Rodrick, is dedicated to driving impactful change and enhancing the quality of life in his home country and beyond.

Served as a Judge for the BuDeTec Event
Honoured to have served as a Judge and Mentor at the Buea Debate and Technology Competition (BuDeTeC) 2025, an inspiring event that brought together some of the most brilliant young minds in tech and innovation. It was amazing witnessing students pitch innovative solutions and participate in thought-provoking debates that showcased both intellect and creativity. As a mentor, I had the opportunity to guide the tech participants through refining their ideas and preparing for their presentations, a truly rewarding experience.

Representing Yoli Technologies as a speaker at the Hustlers Engineering Conference. The event brought together innovators, engineers, and entrepreneurs to explore the intersection of technology and business. I delivered a talk on Innovative I.T Solutions and How They’re Powering the Business Landscape, highlighting how practical tech integration can drive real-world impact. Beyond sharing insights, I also took part in coordinating and mentoring participants, reinforcing my passion for using technology to empower young innovators and strengthen Africa’s digital future.
